Hann Resorts, Pampanga, Central Luzon, Philippines is looking to appoint an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent, to work onsite.
Job Scope:
- Responsible for the overall maintenance of the golf course(s), including turfgrass care, irrigation, pest control, and landscaping.
- Leads and oversees the maintenance of golf course tees, fairways, greens, and traffic areas such as cart paths.
- Oversees and participates in the repair of all facilities on the golf course.
- Manages the maintenance and repair of all equipment and motorized equipment used on the golf course.
Job Qualifications:
- College Degree in Agronomy, plant science, Horticulture or golf course management, or 5 years of work experience in golf course maintenance in lieu thereof.
- With 2-3 years minimum experience as an Assistant or Golf Course Superintendent with demonstrable experience in turf management and warm season grasses.
- Advance knowledge of agronomy and turf grass management practices.
- Ability to diagnose turf grass disease and nutrient deficiencies.
- Previous pre-opening golf resort experience, including turf grass propagation is an advantage.
- Previous experience working in Asia is an advantage.
